Welcome to the re-launch of the Retro Re-pin Party!
We have some exciting things happening this week with the Retro Re-pin Party. You may have noticed some new blog names in your reminder email and in the list below. That’s because we’re changing things up a bit and have brought some new hostesses on board to re-launch the party!
First off, since many of you are new (welcome!), we wanted to explain a bit about the purpose of the Retro Re-pin Party. The idea for this party is a quick, weekly link party where you can share some of your older (or “retro”) pinned blog posts and give them some new exposure while growing your Pinterest reach. We all have so many great things in our archives, so we wanted to give them a place to shine again!
The other benefits to linking up Pinterest pins is that it’s super quick to click and re-pin another post (versus visiting a blog, commenting, and then pinning), and you each gain some reach on Pinterest twice over – once from the re-pin to another person’s board, and a second time with the new smart feed algorithms that give priority to displaying pins that have a higher number of re-pins. (And don’t worry, you can link up your new stuff too, but don’t be afraid to dig out the retro stuff – as long as the pins are new to the party, we’d love to see them!)

My Feature This Week:
These pretzel chicks from Heidi at Simple Thrifty
These are seriously the most adorable Easter treats I have seen on Pinterest this year! Even better, they don’t take long to make at all because they use my favorite candy melts!! Be sure to click the image and show Heidi some more re-pin love!

Very Simple Rules for This Party
1. Add up to 2 pin links to your already pinned Pinterest posts (the older the better, but new posts are fine – just make sure they’re new to our party!)
2. Re-pin at least 2 other pins because that’s why we’re here!
3. Link back to us and follow your hostesses on at least one social media if you would. It’s the nice thing to do!
Note: By linking up to this party, you give the hostesses permission to share your posts and an image via social media or as a feature with links back to the original source. If you have entered an email address into the link up too, an email will be sent when the party goes live. Your email will not be used in any other way.
