It’s time to Retro Re-pin Party!
This week has finally felt like Christmas around here. I went to my first holiday party – a book swap with my book club. We each brought a book we really love and exchanged them with a little poem. Whichever book we ended up with will be what we read for January’s book club meeting. When I first joined the book club, I had no idea how much I’d come to enjoy their friendship and meeting up with them each month. They are wonderful supporters/ambassadors/food porn lovers of my blog too. I’m not sure I would have jumped into doing this consistently without their encouragement. Thanks for all your support book club peeps! We also had a Christmas concert at our church this past Sunday. I took a Cranberry Ginger and Coconut bundt cake (gluten-free and dairy free!) decked out and topped with sugared cranberries. It was so popular that I posted a tutorial for making the sugared cranberries this morning. Check out these sparkly, jeweled beauties:
I also shared my un-boxing post from the Color Swap (a Mini TARDIS and more!):
Plus, I received the Liebster Award! (A busy week!) You can get to know a lot more about me in this post:
On to the party! I’m hoping you’ll share your favorite holiday baked goods, gift guides, homemade gifts, home decor, Christmas traditions, and any and all things holiday! Remember to pin your posts first and then link up that PINTEREST PIN to the party below so we can show it some extra re-pin love! (Pinterest ranks re-pins higher than pins.)
**Please note that there will not be a Retro Re-pin Party next week, December 23 since we will all be busy with family for the holiday.**
My favorite post from last week is:
Make Your Own Vanilla Sugar from Heather at The Homesteading Hippy
I have a few recipes that call for vanilla sugar that I’ve been wanting to try, but I haven’t been able to find any at the store. I had no idea it was so easy to make your own! I am so very excited to grab a vanilla bean and have my own vanilla sugar. I especially love that you can make whatever amount you want. I was sure that if I found it in a store it would be a giant bag when all I want is a cup or so and then I’d have to store it forever. This would be a super sweet last minute Christmas gift for anyone who loves baking or coffee too! Click the image and show her pin some re-pin love.
Here’s a Feature Button for you Heather!
