Bible Journaling: Better Dressed Than Any Girl On Her Wedding Day
The words on this Bible page are a line from one of my favorite songs, Your Love Is Strong by Jon Foreman, “I walk to the meadow, and stare at the flowers, better dressed than any girl on her wedding day…” and I believe it was based off of this passage in Matthew 6 about worrying: “And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”
Matthew 6:28-34 (ESV)
As I often find myself anxious, I turn to this passage often. God reminds us that we don’t have to worry – he knows what we need and he definitely loves us more than any flowers!

Powersful Studios: Taz + Belly Re-design!
I know I’ve mentioned a few times that I own a web design company called Powersful Studios, LLC (a play on my last name of Powers + the word powerful) Last week didn’t have a Currently Sustaining Us post because I was in the throes of launching this website for my friend Kristin. I’d love for you to pop over and check out the new design of Taz + Belly and let me know what you think!! Now that it’s done, I can hopefully get a chance to finish up my own new design launch here soon!
