If you’ve been around here for a while, you’ve noticed that it’s been a bit quieter on the recipe front lately. You may have also seen me mention a big project that I’ve been working on lately. Well, the cat is out of the bag, so I am finally happy to announce that I have started a new web design and WordPress tech support company called Powersful Studios, LLC! (Get it, I’m Stephanie Powers, so it’s Powers-full. 🙂 )
It all started in January when I launched my Tech Tips Thursday series and started getting emails from other bloggers asking to hire me to work on their blogs. It kind of grew from there, so I partnered with a couple graphic designers, did all the legal work to start a business, write contracts, made a business plan, and built up a fancy website for it, and now I’m ready and eager to take on new clients!
If you’re a blogger, we want to help you avoid the DIY headaches and be your very own WordPress IT department, build you a custom Genesis theme, or create a new logo and branding for your blog. If you’re a small business, we want to help you build a great looking mobile responsive website and give your company a brand identity that will bring you new clients. And even if you’re just a curious onlooker, pop on over and check out our latest project spotlight on the blog!
I promise that I’ll be getting back into the cooking groove (I miss it so much!) and have a new recipe or two posted later this week! I’ll also have a post about the square foot garden I’m growing in my front yard along with a few recipes made with home grown produce. Leave a comment below and tell me if you’d rather see sweet potato fries, lemon whipped cream, migas (a Mexican scrambled egg dish) or a salad dressing round up first. All of these are in the pipeline, but I can’t decide what to make first!

I’m so excited about this! You’ve helped me out a few times with various tech questions, and it’s always been great. I’ve learned a lot about WordPress since I started, but I still don’t consider myself super great at the technical stuff. It’s great to know who to call if I need some help!

Thanks Jenna! I always love to help when I can and sometimes it’s nice to get paid for doing what you love as well. 🙂 I’m hoping the hourly support rates will be especially useful for people like you who enjoy the DIY approach, but sometimes need to phone a friend!
